The gallery of the De Pree Art Center is presenting the exhibition "Paintings, Pots, and UFOs," featuring work by Daryn Lowman and Billy Mayer, through Friday, Aug. 8.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The two artists have teamed up for a colorful and eclectic showing of their most recent works. The Western-themed show features paintings and stoneware pots crafted by Lowman in conjunction with images of UFOs, and photographic impressions of aliens by Mayer.

Work by both artists is available for purchase.

The De Pree Art Center is located on Columbia Avenue at 12th Street, and the gallery is handicapped-accessible. The gallery is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., but will be closed on Friday, July 4.
