Hope Ranks High in National DIII Standings

Hope athletics this year ranks high according to the United States Sports Academy Director's Cup standings.

Through the winter season, Hope ranks 31st among 246 NCAA Division III colleges.

Sponsored by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, the standings are determined on the basis of competition in NCAA-sponsored post-season championships.

Williams College of Massachusetts tops the standings with 821 points. Hope teams have compiled 251 points through the winter.

MIAA rival Calvin is a single point (252) ahead of Hope to rank 29th in the standings. The rankings of other MIAA colleges are: Albion, 121st; Kalamazoo, 150th; Adrian, 158th; and Alma, 166th. COMPLETE STANDINGS
