All-MIAA Basketball Honors Announced

All-MIAA basketball honors have been presented to seven Hope players.

Women's Basketball: Senior Bria Ebels (Holland, Mich.) was named the league's co-most valuable player and voted the defensive player of the
year.  She was joined on the All-MIAA first team by sophomore Jordyn Boles (Grand Rapids, Mich.).  Junior Julie Henderson (Grand Haven, Mich.)
was voted to the All-MIAA second team.  Receiving coaches' honorable mention were senior Linda Ebels (Falmouth, Mich.) and junior Ellen Wood (Naperville, Ill.)

Men's Basketball: Three Hope seniors were named to the All-MIAA first
team. Honored for the second time was Andy Phillips (White Pigeon, Mich.). He
was joined on the first team by Greg Immink (Hudsonville, Mich.) and Eric Voisin
(Suttons Bay, Mich.). Junior Stephen Cramer (Akron, Mich.) was named to the All-MIAA second team.  Receiving coaches' honorable mention were senior Jeff Carlson (Holland, Mich.) and sophomore Marcus Vanderheide (Grandville, Mich.).
