Hope Players Receive All-MIAA Volleyball Honors

Three Hope volleyball players have received honors from Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) coaches.

Seniors Deena Van Assen and Amber Hoezee, each a graduate of Jenison High School, have received All-MIAA first team recognition while sophomore Nora Slenk of Holland (Holland Christian HS) is a second team honor.

Hoezee is a first-team honoree for the second year in-a-row.

Receiving coaches' honorable mention was senior Stephanie Poll of Hamilton (Hamilton HS).

The Flying Dutch finished second in the MIAA seasonal standings and were runnerups in the conference tournament.  The team has also received a bid to the NCAA Division III championships.
