Hope Tops MIAA Commissioner's Cup Standings

Hope College tops the Commissioner's Cup standings after the fall sports season. The standings are determined by the cumulative finish in the 18 MIAA-sponsored sports. There are eight sports in the fall season. Hope finished no lower than third place in any of the fall sport standings. The lone conference title came in volleyball while second place finishes were recorded in men's and women's cross country, men's golf and men's soccer. Teams finishing third were football, women's soccer and women's golf.

Calvin and Hope tied for first place in the 2007-08 Commissioner's Cup standings. Hope has won honor a league-record 30 times since the award was instituted in 1934-35.
