Exploring Issues in Faith and Science: Are Faith and Science in Conflict?

April 03, 2013 | 7:00 PM |
Maas Conference Room

How can the Bible be true if it appears to conflict with the science? Could the earth and the universe be billions of years old? Are science and faith two ways of looking at the same world?

Join us for an informal dessert, video presentation, panel discussion and group conversation, where we will explore how faith and science can be integrated in ways that allow for the integrity of both Christian commitment and scientific endeavors.

April 3 from 7:00-8:30 p.m., Maas Conference Room (with panelists Barry Bandstra, Peter Gonthier and Ed Hanson).

This event is co-sponsored by the Departments of Biology, Geology, Philosophy, Physics, Religion, and by the Deans of the Arts and Humanities and Natural Sciences.
