Presidential Colloquium Lecture Series Event: “Abraham Lincoln: Emancipation and Its Legacies in the United States and Abroad”

Dr. Richard Carwardine, President of Corpus Christi College at the University of Oxford will give a presentation on  “Abraham Lincoln: Emancipation and Its Legacies in the United States and Abroad”  in the DeWitt Center Herrick Room at 2 p.m. At this event, Dr. Carwardine will examine the story of Emancipation Proclamation and the international impact of Lincoln’s actions. Dr. Carwardine is an expert on Abraham Lincoln and 19th century American politics and religion.
