The Searching the Sacred Lecture: “Cheerfully Conveying the Word of Love: St. Augustine’s Platonic Emphasis on the Unity of Disposition and Message in Christian Instruction,” by Dr. Aron Reppmann.

Dr. Reppmann is professor of philosophy and director of new faculty formation at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois.  Join us for an exploration of the ways early Christian writers adopted and adapted patterns of thinking from the ancient Greek philosopher Plato in their writings on the dynamics of Christian formation.  This lecture is sponsored by the Religion Department, the Philosophy Department, and the Center for Ministry Studies.
