Research Interests
I am working with Dr. Best in the Biology department and with Dr. Lee in the Chemistry department. In Dr. Best's lab we are focused in understanding the transcription mechanism of the protist, Giardia lamblia and comparative analyses of microbial genomes linked to wet-lab experimentation. In Dr. Lee's lab, the main focus of my research is to test the anti-parasitic effects of different AT-rich DNA binding drugs synthesized in his lab.
