Liverpool Hope University

Liverpool Hope University is a merger of several teaching colleges that have been in existence for 168 years. It is the only ecumenical university foundation in Europe, founded on Christian principles but embracing all faiths. We will be lodged at the Hope Park campus, located in a lovely residential area south of downtown.

We will be hosted by the Department of Politics, History, Media and Communication. Their media and communication faculty research topics such as media industries and innovation; film history, marketing and distribution; celebrity and fan cultures; eco media; social media; and news framing. We will benefit from their expertise through faculty lectures, a seminar with international students, hands-on media instruction, and field trips to various locations in Liverpool.
