Celtic May Term 2014
Peace & Reconciliation in Northern Ireland and Scotland
Professors Johnston and Nemeth

The Celtic May Term addresses four broad themes: Community in Faith, Peace Building, Intergroup Dialogue, and Celtic Culture & History

Your individual project, which will directly correspond to one of these larger themes, will use oral history methodology and video camera technology to engage with Scottish and Irish people, interpersonally. These projects will address a concept of peace and reconciliation in depth, exploring how Scottish and/or Irish people perceive and perform the concept, and how this concept affects your own faith and identity.
