Academic excellence, preparation for a competitive market... and a faithful approach to Christian liberal arts. Here, you don’t have to choose.

Your interest in economics and business is just the beginning... and at Hope, you don’t have to start with all the answers.

From careers in marketing to finance, public policy to accounting, figuring out the road ahead can leave a lot of questions — and options — to figure out. We believe that faithfully finding your path begins with a Christian liberal arts education in economics and business.

Here’s how:

We equip you with a right-sized major anchored in the liberal arts, giving you plenty of time to explore a variety of paths for your future. We provide a rigorous foundation in economics and business (one that prepares you for a competitive market), but don’t overbuild requirements in a way that sacrifices exploration or breadth.

You are able to faithfully discern your calling and vocation as part of a four-year process — through academic excellence, hands-on experiences and applied skill development. It’s why we offer 9+ co-curricular programs in a variety of business disciplines, multiple off-campus trips, professional-level workshops and experiential learning for all.

We surround you with a community of professors, alumni and professionals who know and support you, preparing you to be anchored in community for life. Our students engage with 500+ professionals each year, yet are personally known with our 1:1 student to professional ratio, small classes and networking opportunities that are always scaled to Hope’s size.

We invite you into intellectual and intentional engagement with the Christian faith in our courses and scholarship. It’s a commitment that drives our entire approach — helping you faithfully discern your calling while preparing you for purposeful change and impact.
