If you click on the above dates you will find the actual lesson plans that we used for several of the class sessions. These are examples that show you how scripting "looks." You will notice that all of the pre-design considerations are included at the beginning of the T-chart. You will be expected to show your organizing decisions for your lesson in this format. Remember, you are letting the observer know what you are thinking, what your exact plan is before going into the lesson.
We encourage you to take a look at the timing sequences in the left-hand column, the description of what different segments of the plan "look like," the script of what will be said to ensure that students know what to do--"sounds like"--what is expected of them, and finally in the last column identification of the potential for engaging diverse learning styles.
We offer you these examples so that you might think more concretely about how you will be creating the T-Chart for your own Teaching Seminar.
