Bachelor of Science in Engineering
The Bachelor of Science in Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org. The major provides preparation for engineering employment in industry or for graduate study in engineering.
Students can select appropriate upper level engineering courses to obtain an emphasis in specific areas.

Recent dual majors have included engineering-dance, engineering-chemistry, engineering-computer science, engineering-english, and engineering-economics.
A minor in engineering consists of 20 credits of engineering courses. It must include ENGS 140, 150, 220, and at least one 300 level course. The remaining courses are to be chosen by the student in consultation with the department chairperson and the student's advisor. The exact courses will depend upon the intended major program of the student. Prior approval of the courses by the department is required.
