Introduction to Engineering Laboratory

 

This spacious laboratory has room for 20 students at sturdy tables to allow for performance of a wide range of activities. Instructional material can be displayed at multiple points around the room on 60” flat-screen monitors.

 

 

• Designing and programming microcontroller based systems
• Dismantling a real automobile engine to determine how its components function and work together
• Fabrication and mechanical testing of concrete beams to failure
• Production of bio-fuel (ethanol) from field corn
