CARLA VISSERS

Community Involvement

Carla is a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Holland.  She has been involved in social justice issues in Holland for a number of years, beginning as a founding member and eventual board president of Housing Opportunities Made Equitable in the late 1980s.  Currently she serves as vice-president of the board of directors for the Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance (www.ethnicdiversity.org).  She often volunteers her time as a group facilitator for the Institute for the Healing of Racism.
