Health Dynamics

Health Dynamics is a course taken by all first-year students. This course establishes the knowledge of diet, stress managment, and exercise as it relates to fitness and health and provides an opportunity for students to personally experience those relationships by putting into effect individualized programs appropriate to student needs and interests.
Health Dynamics is taught in both the fall and spring semesters, and frequently in the May term as well. Two models are available. In the first, students attend lecture once per week for the entire semester and participate with their class in physical activity three days per week. The second model requires students to attend two lectures per week for half of the semester and engage in physical activity three days per week for the entire semester.
