The Center for Faithful Leadership’s Servant Leader Award is in its fifth year.
The process of allocating the award begins by asking for nominations from Hope students, faculty and staff. CFL then encourages the nominees to apply for the award by asking them to complete a survey. Some of the survey questions include:
- What is the difference between service and servant leadership?
- How would you describe your approach to leadership?
- Who are the leaders and mentors in your life who have inspired you? How did they inspire you?
- What has been your Hope College involvement?
Those nominees who make it to the next step in the process are then interviewed by an independent committee of campus and community members.
From the insight they gained from the interviews, the committee decided that Camille and Kate deserve special recognition for their contributions as student servant leaders. Congratulations!
