  • Active in curriculum reform for the teaching of physics to majors and also students in area outside of the sciences.
  • Supported research in heavy-ion physics (both experimental and theoretical).
  • 2.7 million volt Van de Graaff accelerator laboratory.
  • Modern laboratories including computerized General Physics Laboratory, Electronics Laboratory, Computer Aided Design Laboratory, and Senior Projects Laboratory.
  • Research programs on campus, at national laboratories, at NASA laboratories.
  • Research supported through grants from the National Science Foundation, Research Corporation, NASA, and the Michigan Space Grant Consortium.
