Political Geography

Overview:

This course presents the basics of world geography. It also introduces students to American geo-political interests and highlights major differences between First and Third World nations. It is a survey course which is intended to prepare model UN students in area specialties which they might become involved with in the spring. It also satisfies Education Department requirements for majors seeking certain credentials. Students who desire minimal familiarity with world geography would benefit from taking this class.
