Subfield Concentrations in Political Science

As laid out in basic required form, the political science major is a broad discipline. It is also very interdisciplinary, with many students double-majoring in another subject area.

While the interdisciplinary nature of the major is one of its strengths, there is also now the opportunity for students to focus their study of political science by specializing in one or more subfield concentrations.

Majors will be able to receive recognition of a subfield concentration by earning 12 or more credits within a particular subfield.
