Identification Card Information

STUDENT ID CARDS id

All registered students will receive an official Hope College student ID card. ID cards are printed at the Campus Safety office. The card must be presented to use the library or cafeteria, may be required for access to certain campus buildings, residences, or computer labs, and may be needed for other college services and activities.

The cost for replacing an ID card is $20.00 and will be billed to the student's account. Cards damaged by punch holes are subject to the replacement fee.

The card is void if not validated for the current semester or term. The card is not transferable. Lost, mutilated or stolen ID cards must be reported to Campus Safety.

Students registered for fewer than 6 credit hours will pay a $40.00 semester fee for the ID card and its privileges. ID cost for students registered for 6 or more credits will be included in their semester activity fee.
