Importance of Multicultural Life at Hope

Multicultural life and diversity are important components of the Hope College campus community. Hope College also has a commitment to continue building a strong multicultural educational atmosphere, as defined in the Vision Statement and Comprehensive Plan. Different cultural backgrounds comprise our campus environment. We desire students who interact in this environment to gain a rewarding learning experience. It is our hope that all students at Hope College gain an understanding of the world that surrounds them. Student Organizations

Hope College has a number of different organizations and programs to help facilitate multicultural involvement and to build a strong college community.

The Office of Multicultural Education and Office of International Students work together to build a strong college community by celebrating their diversity and sharing their cultures. These organizations, as well as others, have group meetings, take trips, and facilitate conversation about stereotypes present in our society. Multicultural Education Events enrich all students' campus experiences.
