Favorite Courses: Political Science course on the European Union and a German Literature course on literature written during the period of the Third Reich.

Favorite Memory: Simply living among the German culture in Freiburg is an experience in itself; experiencing the food, music, and nightlife were all especially gratifying for me. I also enjoyed the traveling I was able to do. I visited four other countries outside of Germany; the sights and people I met were absolutely fabulous.

Advice: I would suggest immersing yourself into the culture as much as possible. It is very easy to become apart of the "American group." This then isolates you from things you might be able to encounter otherwise. The opportunity to live among the culture is a rare one, so I suggest taking full advantage of it and experiencing the most that you possibly can.
