Inquiring Minds Philosophy Discussion Group, Kletz near Cool Beans Inquiring Minds Philosophy Discussion Group meets to discuss: Divine Knowledge. "Open theism" has been gaining a lot of ground lately in Christian circles. It claims that the future is "open" and not infallibly known by God. What do you make of this? Does it help with problems for human freedom, or does it just raise more problems? Refreshments will be provided. No prior knowledge is required. All are welcome. |

Hope College Chamber Music Concert, Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music The concert will highlight the chamber music happenings at Hope College with groups of two, thee or four playing music written specifically for their instrument groups. Playing are two string quartet groups, a woodwind quintet, a saxophone quartet and a small chamber group of two flutes and cello playing original works by Alexander Borodin, Josef Haydn, Adrean Barthe and more. Nykerk Hall of Music is located in the central Hope campus at the former 127 E. 12th St. between College and Columbia avenues. Admission is free. |
