Nathan Makowski - PhD student in Electrical Engineering at Case Western University. Nathan is a 2006 Hope grad. Abstract: Mass muscle activation patterns in stroke increase based on effort, preventing the individual from completing their desired movement. By using low levels of voluntary effort, thereby limiting antagonist muscle activity, electrical stimulation may be able to produce the desired movement

Tickets cost $10 for the general public and $5 with Hope College I.D., and are on sale at the ticket office in the main lobby of the DeVos Fieldhouse. The ticket office is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be called at (616) 395-7890. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door.
