The Hope College Mainstream Ensemble and Jazz Arts Collective will present a lunchtime concert on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at noon in the Kletz on the ground level of the DeWitt Center.

The Jack Ridl Visiting Writers Series of Hope College will feature Joy Harjo and Danielle Cadena Deulen on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre in downtown Holland.

The Hope College Orchestra will present its second concert of the 2012-13 school year on Friday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

Ben Rector, with special guest Steve Moakler, will perform at Hope College on Friday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre in downtown Holland through the Hope College Concert Series and the student Social Activities Committee.

Hope College Jazz Chamber Ensembles will perform on Monday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.

Pianist Douglas Humpherys will perform at Hope College on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

Hope College Theatre will present “Sweeney Todd” on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9-10, and Wednesday-Saturday, Nov. 14-17, at 8 p.m. in the DeWitt Center main theatre.

Tickets for the annual Hope College Christmas Vespers will be sold to the public on Saturday, Nov. 10, beginning at 10 a.m. at the DeVos Fieldhouse.

Classical guitarist Gideon Whitehead will perform at Hope College on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.

Dr. Glen Stassen, who is the Lewis B. Smedes Professor of Ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary, will present “A Thicker Jesus is the Basis for Just Peace Making” on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Winants Auditorium of Graves Hall through the A.J. Muste Memorial Lecture Series at Hope College.
