Resource Room
The Resource Room will be in the Martha Miller Rotundas (first and second floors) on Friday, August 23rd from 1:00-5:00pm and Saturday, August 24th from 9:00am-1:00pm.
What you will find in the Resource Room:
Banks: Many participating banks are within walking distance and are ready to take care of all your banking needs. You will need a valid driver’s license, social security card, and an initial deposit (in the form of a check, money order or cash) to open an account.
Great Lakes/Gerrit’s Laundry: Purchase a Laundry Smart Card. All Hope residence hall laundry machines use Smart Cards.
Campus Safety: This is a great time to ask questions about campus parking, as well as vehicle and bike registration.
The Kletz: Accounts for Kletz Kurrency, a declining balance account for use at Hope’s snack bar, can be opened at this time.
Milestone Yearbook: Take advantage of this great opportunity to order a Milestone yearbook for your new Hope student.
Social Activities Committee: This student organization (SAC) coordinates campus-wide programming throughout the year. Stop by to order passes for weekly campus movies or to pick up a schedule of events.
Health Services: Learn about Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the campus Health Center.
…And much more!
Please note: Student ID card & yearbook photos will be taken in 238 Martha Miller Center. All students are required to get a valid Student ID. Photo sessions are scheduled for Friday, August 23 from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday, August 24 from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
