Poem by Priscilla Atkins
Named "Poem of the Month"

HOLLAND -- A poem by Priscilla Atkins of the Hope
College faculty has been named "Poem of the Month" for
November in the electronic edition of "The Christian Science
Monitor."
The poem, "November Pink," is being published in the November 8 edition of the print version of the publication. It is
currently available on the electronic version, which
includes audio of Atkins reading the poem.

Atkins is arts librarian with the rank of
associate professor at the college. She has had poems in
publications such as "Poetry," "The North American Review,"
"The Midwest Quarterly," and "The William and Mary Review."
She has been a member of the Hope faculty since
1994. She is on a sabbatical leave during the current
school year.
