Hope Students to Perform in Michigan
Intercollegiate Honors Band

HOLLAND -- Several Hope College students will
perform with the Michigan Intercollegiate Honors Band on
Saturday, Feb. 2, at Alma College.
The students are nominated by their directors for
participation. The first Honors Band event was held in
1972.
This year's band will include 11 Hope students:
Meghan Carrier, a freshman from Traverse City; Jeremy Davis,
a junior from Egan, Ill.; Grant Gould, a sophomore from Cass
City; Grant Heller, a senior from Holland; Sarah Herman, a
senior from Sylvania, Ohio; Helen Meronek, a junior from
Auburn Hills; Heidi Osmundson, a senior from Adams, Minn.;
Jessica Schulte, a senior from Clarkston; Christopher
Thibault, a sophomore from Grand Blanc; Rachel Trautwein, a
freshman from Wheaton, Ill.; and Katherine VanOss, a
freshman from Holland.
The concert will include performances by students
from Adrian, Albion, Alma, Calvin, Cornerstone, Grand
Valley, Hope and Spring Arbor.
Alma will host the event at Heritage Center, Presbyterian Hall, beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
