Perform on Sunday, Sept. 23

HOLLAND -- Several members of the music faculty of Hope College will perform in a recital on Sunday, Sept. 23, at 4 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
The performance is the first in a series of faculty recitals that will be given throughout the school year. The series features vocal and instrumental pieces, soloists and ensembles.
The recital on Sept. 23 will cover a variety of composers, including Strauss, Ingolf Dahl, and Heitor Villa Lobos. Voice professor Elizabeth LaGrande will sing series of old English songs arranged by Rebecca Clarke.
Also playing in the recital is the "Anchor Trio," which features piano, violin and cello. Sunday's recital marks the debut of new piano faculty member Mansoon Han, who along with "Anchor Trio" founders Mihai Craioveanu and Richard Piippo will perform Beethoven's "Trio in E flat for Piano, Violin and Cello."
Nykerk Hall of Music is located along the former 12th Street between College and Columbia avenues.
