HOLLAND -- Members of the Hope College music faculty will perform the final recital of the fall season on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of the Nykerk Hall of Music.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

Throughout the fall, the Hope College music faculty has offered a free recital series on Sunday afternoons. Joining the Hope faculty for the fourth and final recital is guest violinist Timothy Shiu. Shiu, along with faculty pianist Mansoon Han, will perform works by Beethoven, Brahms, Gershwin-Heifetz and Bloch.

The first piece of the recital is Beethoven's "Sonata in G Major, Op. 30 No. 3" for violin. Following the Beethoven piece, Shiu and Han will perform Ernest Bloch's "Baal Shem." The third piece in the program is Brahms' "Sonata in G Major, Op. 78." The concert will conclude with "Three Preludes" by George Gershwin-Heifetz.

Nykerk Hall of Music is located between College and Columbia avenues on the former 12th Street.
