Ken Freestone to Discuss Stewardship of Resources
Posted March 24, 2003
HOLLAND -- Ken Freestone, executive director of
the Macatawa Greenway Partnership, will present the address
"Creativity, Compassion and Stewardship of Personal and
Natural Resources" on Friday, March 28, at 3 p.m. in Winants
Auditorium of Graves Hall.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
Freestone is presenting the keynote address in
conjunction with his time on campus as an "Executive-in-
Residence," hosted by the Baker Scholars. Through the
residency program, organizational leaders meet with students
and faculty both inside and outside of class, providing a
blend of insights from the field and into the type of person
that such a leader can be.
The George F. Baker Scholarship program at Hope
develops the business leadership potential of a select group
of students, emphasizing academic excellence, quality of
character, responsibility and motivation.
