Hope Halls Host Halloween Happenings

HOLLAND -- Several Hope College residence halls
are hosting activities open to the community in conjunction
with Halloween.
A total of 16 residence halls will be open to
young trick-or-treaters on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. to
8 p.m. Children from the community are invited to visit and
admission is free, although they must be accompanied by an
adult.
The participating halls are Brownstone, Brumler,
College East, Columbia, Cook, Cosmo/Wyckoff, Durfee,
Dykstra, Gilmore, Kollen, Lichty, Parkview, Phelps, Scott,
Van Vleck and Vennema. Selected cottage housing units,
those with their porch lights on, will also be
participating.
The Brownstone Apartments complex is located at 80
E. 8th St., between College and Columbia avenues.
The Brumler Apartments complex is located on 13th
Street between College and Columbia avenues.
The College East Apartments complex is located on
14th Street between Columbia Avenue and the railroad tracks.
The Columbia Apartments complex is located on
Columbia Avenue between 15th and 16th streets.
Cook Hall is located on 10th Street between
College and Columbia avenues.
Cosmo/Wyckoff Hall is located on 13th Street
between College and Columbia avenues.
Durfee Hall is located on 10th Street between
College and Columbia avenues.
Dykstra Hall is located on Ninth Street at
Columbia Avenue.
Gilmore Hall is located on 10th Street at Columbia
Avenue.
Kollen Hall is located between 12th and 13th
streets at Columbia Avenue.
Lichty Hall is located on 13th Street between
College and Columbia avenues.
The Parkview Apartments complex is located on 9th
Street at Columbia Avenue.
Phelps Hall is located on 10th Street at Columbia
Avenue.
Scott Hall is located on 13th Street between
College and Columbia avenues.
Van Vleck Hall is located in the central campus,
south of 10th Street between College and Columbia avenues.
The Vennema Apartments complex is located on 13th
Street between Central and College avenues.
Voorhees Hall is located on 10th Street at College
Avenue.
