Student-Choreographed Dance Concert
Runs Monday-Tuesday, Nov. 25-26

HOLLAND -- Dance students at Hope College will present the annual fall Student-Choreographed Dance Concert on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 25 and 26, at 8 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The concert will feature several works choreographed and performed by Hope students. Most of the pieces will be presented both evenings, although two will be presented on Monday or Tuesday only.

Both concerts will open with "La Facade Des Femmes Fatales," choreographed by sophomore Jessica Mumford of Kalamazoo. The pieces to follow will include "Yeha-Noha (Wishes of Happiness & Prosperity)," choreographed by junior Amanda Boboltz of Alpena; "More Than Just Enough," choreographed by junior Kathleen Davenport of Gainesville, Fla.; "Just About the Slide," choreographed by junior Ashley Stoneburner of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and "Corners," choreographed by 2001 graduate Amy Vertalka of Holland.

Following intermission, both evenings will feature "XXI," choreographed by senior Carla Carrozziere of Rochester, N.Y.; "Sestial," choreographed by senior Mandy Olson of Oak Park, Ill.; and "Touch Innuendos," choreographed by the college's Dance Production Class.

The Monday concert will also feature "Moved, Having Seen," choreographed by senior Amanda Petersen of Wheeling, Ill. The Tuesday concert will also include "Defunct," choreographed by junior Tara Mistry of Schaumburg, Ill.

The Knickerbocker Theatre is located in downtown Holland at 86 E. 8th St.
