HOLLAND – Tickets for the annual Hope College Christmas Vespers will be sold to the public on Saturday, Nov. 22, beginning at 9 a.m. in the DeWitt Center.
Christmas Vespers will be presented on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The tickets will be sold at the main floor Collegiate Lounge of the DeWitt Center, which is located on Columbia Avenue at 12th Street.
The sale is scheduled to run until noon, but will end earlier if the supply of tickets runs out. Because the services traditionally sell out, persons wishing to purchase tickets for a particular service should consider arriving early and obtaining a place in line.
Tickets will be $5 each, with a limit of four tickets per person. No telephone orders will be accepted, and tickets will not be sold at the services.
Christmas Vespers was first held on Sunday, Dec. 7, 1941. Participating groups this year will include Hope’s College Chorus, Chapel Choir, Symphonette and Flute Choir, as well as organists.
