College Chorus, Chapel Choir and
Symphonette to Combine for Concert

HOLLAND -- Hope College's Chapel Choir, College
Chorus and Symphonette combine talents for an evening of
entertainment on Tuesday, April 25, at 7 p.m. in Dimnent
Memorial Chapel.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
The concert will include two Concerto/Aria
competition winners, graduating seniors Patricia Rhiew and
David Schout. Schout, an organist from Holland, will open
the concert with Samuel Barber's "Toccata Festiva for Organ,
Strings, Trumpet, and Timpani." Rhiew, a soprano from
Farmington Hills, will sing the "Jewel Song" from the opera
"Faust" by Charles Guonod.
Featured soloists during the concert will include
Stuart Sharp, Elizabeth LaGrande and Margaret Kennedy-Dygas
of the Hope voice faculty, along with baritone Dale
Schriemer of Grand Rapids.
The program will conclude with a collaborative
choir/orchestra performance of "Mass in Time of War" by
Joseph Haydn.
Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located on the corner
of 12th Street and College Avenue.
