Flying Dutchmen Golfers Recognized for Classroom Performance [1]

Two members of the 2010-11 Hope College men's golf team have been honored for outstanding performance in the classroom.

Nicholas Campbell of Saline (Saline HS) and Andy Thomson of Beaver Dam, Wisc. (Central Wisconsin Christian HS) have named Division III Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars in a program sponsored by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Both were also recently named to the Academic Honor Roll of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).

Campbell is an economics major and Thomson is a psychology major. They will be co-captains of the 2011 team.

The Flying Dutchmen are coach by Robert Ebels.
