Hope's math curriculum provides a broad theoretical background and incorporates technology and modeling projects to illustrate a wide variety of applications.
  • You'll have opportunities to collaborate with faculty members, both during the school year and in the summer. These opportunities include projects in traditional curriculum and interdisciplinary research.
  • Math students hear distinguished guest colloquium speakers [2] from other institutions and industry.
  • The department's 11 professors have wide-ranging research interests including mathematical biology, statistics, bioinformatics, chaos, probability, ring theory, topology, complex analysis and graph theory.
  • In the past year, department faculty gave 13 presentations at conferences and published 11 research articles.
