
Dr. Annie Dandavati, professor of political science at Hope College, will be a featured speaker in the "Great Discussion Series" of the World Affairs Council of West Michigan on Monday, Feb. 11.
Dr. Dandavati will speak on the topic "Brothers, Sisters and Soldiers: Egypt's Transition to Democracy" at the Aquinas College Performing Arts Center at 6 p.m.
Dr. Dandavati was a visiting professor at the American University of Cairo at the time of the uprising in 2012.
There will be an admission charge of $10 for Council members and students with an ID and $15 for others. No advance purchases are required.
