Kobe College (Nishinomiya, Japan) is hiring an ESL teacher for 2016-2018. This is an excellent private school near Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto that has been recognized by the Japanese Ministry of Education and Science for offering one of the very top English language programs in Japanese junior high schools. Applications are available at http://www.kccjee.org/#!about2/c46b The application deadline is July 18, 2015 and the position will start April 1, 2016.

Schools need great teachers, and each year STA helps nearly 600 private and independent schools in Mid-Atlantic and Southern states find candidates. STA currently has 875 teaching and administrative jobs listed for the 2015-16 school year. Candidates do not have to be in a teacher-preparation program or major in education to be considered for faculty positions at outstanding independent schools. While some educational experience is desirable, most secondary-school teachers are hired based on their major—their subject knowledge—and their gifts for working with young people. Candidates should have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Click here to apply. Because we interview all of our candidates, it can take several weeks to become an active STA candidate. Schools are filling teaching positions now, so candidates should apply right away! STA provides a free service for candidates.

Every spring, the Career Development Center collects the resumes of upcoming public accounting juniors and seniors and distributes them to public accounting firms. Often these resumes are requested by the firms during the summer months. If you will be graduating between December (2015) and May 2017 with 150 credits, intend to apply for intern or full time positions with CPA firms in the fall, please express your interest here to hear your resume included in the Public Accounting Resume Book .
