The State of Michigan Sport Management State Conference will be November
21-22, 2014. If you have an interest in working in sport, whether
it be in the recreation side or the sport management side, you may
want to attend this conference. The conference will be held at the
Crowe Plaza, 5700 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. If you register

Are you interested in combining graduate school with service in either
Peace Corps or VISTA? Michigan Tech offers programs in 11 departments
(Biology; Civil and Environmental Engineering; Computer Science; Electrical
and Computer Engineering; Environmental and Energy Policy; Forestry;
Geology; Industrial Archaeology; Mechanical Engineering; Rhetoric,
Theory and Culture; and Science Education) that combine practical
service opportunities with time on campus. Most students spend one
academic year on campus, then either two years in Peace Corps or one
year in VISTA, followed by one more semester back on campus. Some
programs accept students from any undergraduate academic discipline.
