Family Weekend

This fall, Hope will welcome families of current students for a weekend on campus. This traditional event is a great opportunity for the whole family to experience Hope and visit their student.

Family Weekend will be held on Friday, October 31 through Sunday, November 2, 2014.

The Family Weekend schedule for 2014 is not yet finalized. Please feel free to review the 2013 schedule to get an idea for the type of events that take place and save the dates in your calendar.

Parents’ Harvest Reception
Enjoy an assortment of fall treats and meet student leaders and members of the Parents’ Council at this relaxing, meet-and-greet event.

Siblings Sleepover
Siblings are invited to stay overnight in the residence halls with your Hope student. Age 9 and up must stay in same-sex room.

Hope College Parents’ Council members invite you to join them to hear from the President and Mrs. Knapp as they share their insights about Hope College.

Middle and High School students are welcome to tour the campus with a Hope tour guide.  Come to the Admissions Office at 11:00, last tour leaves at 11:10.  Campus Tours take approximately 1 hour.

The 80th Annual Nykerk Cup Competition
A long standing Hope College Tradition! Don’t miss this fun-filled evening of entertainment including play, music and oration.  The performances feature competition between the Classes of 2016 and 2017. Tickets are required, contact the ticket office for details at 616-395-7890.
