    Address on March 4 to Focus on Asian American Activism and Advocacy

    Writer and speaker Kathy Khang will present “Raise Your Voice: Asian American Activism and Advocacy” as the 2020 Asian Heritage Lecture at Hope College on Wednesday, March 4, at 5 p.m. in the Schaap Auditorium on the lower level of the Jim and Martie Bultman Student Center.

    Western Theological Seminary to Host Gregory Lee on Feb. 27

    Dr. Gregory Lee who is associate professor of theology and urban studies at Wheaton College and a core faculty member for Wheaton in Chicago will present “An Augustinian Theology of Mass Incarceration” on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. at Western Theological Seminary in Mulder Chapel.

    Haworth Inn and Conference Center Undergoing Complete Renovation

    Hope College’s Haworth Inn and Conference Center, adjacent to downtown Holland, is undergoing a complete renovation that will debut in just a few months. The transformational project includes all conference and hotel rooms, rebuilding the lobby and creating a full-service coffee shop that will be open to students and the public. This project is made possible through a gift from Haworth and has been led by Patricia Urquiola, an award-winning designer and architect based in Milan, Italy, who has worked with the company for several years.
