Career and Professional Development
Every year hundreds of professionals engage on campus through a variety of career programs, classroom projects and speaking events.
Professional development is integrated in the classroom to provide early exposure to professionals and a sophisticated understanding of industry.
- Meet the Firms
-
A distinct set of firms hold information sessions each semester, offering the opportunity to proactively engage in understanding company values, internship and entry level opportunities, and hiring processes and timelines.
View a list of participating firms on our calendar. All students are invited to attend these one-hour information sessions. See event details and register in Handshake.
- Career Panels
-
Each semester we offer six or seven discipline-specific panels providing networking with alumni and employer partners. Following each panel, students have the opportunity to join a roundtable discussion with the panelists. View upcoming panel dates and details on our calendar.
- Recruiting Fair
-
The annual fall Economics and Business Recruiting Fair takes place in November.
Over 30 participating firms will be hiring for internship and full time positions. Students are encouraged to dress business professional and bring several copies of their resume.
- On-Campus Recruiting
- Throughout the year employers hold pre-recruiting events and conduct on campus interviews for internships and full time positions. View and register for upcoming opportunities on Handshake.
- Résumé and Interviewing Feedback

Each year over 100 professionals come to campus to critique students resumes and provide interviewing feedback through practice interviews.
