International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)

The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Technology Standards for Educators are intentionally integrated into the education classes at Hope College and prepare teacher education candidates to effectively use technology for teaching, learning and assessment. The Department of Education at Hope College utilizes ISTE standards in most courses through technology-rich assignments and projects that help prepare our students.

Education Department ISTE Seal The Hope College Education Department was selected as one of six colleges/universities in the United States to receive the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) award in 2002. This award recognized the systematic integration of the ISTE Technology Standards into every education class.
