Outside the College
Dana met her husband, Justin Gill, when they were both in high school. They married at the Bay Pointe Inn on Gun Lake in fall 2012 and now have a daughter, Lyla. The Gills enjoy living a country lifestyle close to their church in Rockford, where Justin is the director of student ministries.
The Gills also enjoy visits to the lake, traveling and camping when they can, and epic game nights with family and close friends. They are also Disney fanatics and are basically always saving for their next Disney vacation.
When Dana has down time she enjoys going to the zoo, visiting different lighthouses, scrapbooking, gardening, cooking and baking, exercising and reading. Dana dreams of someday publishing a children’s picture book and founding an outdoor educational center.
