Why I love Hope

Christy loves the proximity to the beach, but more than anything, she loves the Hope community. She loves the students, the faculty and the staff that make up one of the most welcoming and warm college campuses in the country.

Outside the college

Christy has spent much of her time living abroad. After graduating from Hope, she moved to Venezuela for a year. She has also lived in Portugal for two years, spent an extended summer in Greece and traveled to Brazil, among other countries. She loves being able to interact with those from other cultures.

She also enjoys living an active and outdoor-oriented life. She sees Michigan as being a fabulous state to spend significant amounts of time outdoors and Holland as a great place for anyone to start their adventure.
