About the Center

The Frost Research Center’s  methodology is grounded in organizational research, specifically the principles developed by Dr. Carl Frost in the renowned Frost-Scanlon Plan.

Since its inception in 1990, the Frost Center has been guided –in both name and theory—by Dr. Frost’s vision.  We look forward to extending the bridge between Hope College expertise and the needs of the communities and constituencies we serve.

Dr. Frost’s approach has been critical in maximizing the outcome measures of non-profit and government entities as well as companies such as Herman Miller, Motorola and Firestone.

“The competent and innovative management of change is our primary hope – and hope is not joy, but the opportunity and responsibility to make the difference necessary for survival and success.”

Carl Frost
