Hope is blessed by a longstanding tradition of philanthropy and stewardship. Our alumni, families and friends have helped Hope College conclude the 2018 fiscal year with a strong outpouring of philanthropic support.
On behalf of the entire Hope community, I cannot thank you enough for your generous commitment of time and talent.
Your support prioritizes the unrivaled learning experience our students encounter in the context of the historic Christian faith. To this end, I want to keep Hope's philanthropic priorities present in your mind. Our strategic plan calls on us to grow our Hope Fund to an annual level of $4.1 million and to increase our endowment level to $350 million by 2025.
Within those goals we remain steadfastly focused on the following areas, representing hallmark themes in our strategic plan, and each framed by a context of diversity and inclusive excellence:
- Scholarships and Financial Aid
- Faith Formation
- Collaborative Student-Faculty Research
- Experiential Learning
- International and Global Experiences
- Faculty Scholarship and Program Support
Each of these areas represent the power of a Hope education. An education that shapes
our students into mature, thoughtful leaders, ready to serve the communities in which
they will live, having been guided by faculty and staff who care about their personal,
professional and spiritual development.
Philanthropy is a choice. We remain blessed by the choices you have made, are making
and, we pray, that you continue to make in support of these efforts.
For over 150 years, our generous supporters have walked alongside us to deliver Hope’s
unique blend of academic rigor and co-curricular excellence in a Christian environment.
We are grateful for the commitment that thousands of alumni, parents and friends have
shown the college this past year.
Again, thank you for your ongoing generosity and support.
