Four Hope players led by senior Carrie Scott have been named to the All-MIAA softball teams.
Scott, a three-time All-MIAA honoree from Centreville, Mich., has been voted the league's most valuable player.
Senior pitcher Kim Grotenhuis of Hamilton, Mich. has also been voted to the All-MIAA first team for a third consecutive year.
Named to the All-MIAA second team are sophomore outfielder Kathi Grotenhuis of Hamilton, Mich. and freshman shortstop Allison Miller of Hopkins, Mich.
Three Hope players have also been named to the Division III All-Region teams. Scott has been named to the first team is eligible for All-America consideration while Grotenhuis was named to the second team and senior second baseman Milly VanderMeulen of Hamilton, Mich. earned third team recognition.
